A Woolworths customer user has sparked a spirited debate after sharing her epic supermarket shopping bag clean-up on TikTok.

The footage showed the mum folding up the monster piled of stored-up plastic and cloth bags, before placing them neatly in her car.
But while Emmy claimed that “every Aussie ever” stores their empty supermarket bags in the spaces on either side of their fridge, not everyone agreed.
Scores of TikTok users disputed the shopper’s storage claim.
“Never stored my bags beside my fridge, but I do have two bag cupboards!” said one.
Added another: “I’ve never heard of this in my life, but it kinda makes sense?”
Wrote a third: “Who actually does that?!”
Added one more: “Wow, do people really stuff bags beside the fridge? That would drive me crazy.”
Said another: “Yeah, no Aussie other than you does that!”
Many said they stuff the bags under the kitchen sink, in cupboards or in their cars.
“If you don’t put them under the sink, you’re not Aussie!” said one.
Added another: “I’ve never stored them next to the fridge …. they live in the boot of the car.”
Said one more: “Mine go under the sink or in a cupboard. Never seen someone put them there before.”
In the video, Emmy detailed her “satisfying” method for cleaning the bags, using a popular bag folding technique.
“Every Aussie ever piles their bags on the side of the fridge,” she said.
“Hey, I don’t make the rules but I do sometimes get anxiety thinking it’s a fire hazard.
“And I honestly? It doesn’t really look that nice. So I put away some time to take care of this.
“Now, the way I fold my bags is very technical. Make the first fold just below the 80 per cent. The second fold where that line is, and third fold right to the top.
“Then you’re going to roll little triangles all the way up and this last little bit tucks in just like that.
“And once you’re done, you’re left with a little carrot. I don’t know, the handle just reminds me of a carrot top.
“Anyway, eventually you’ll be done. And I had a lot of bags to fold – it was very satisfying once it was done.
“I then filled this bag up full of all the plastic bags, and I had to fold a bunch of green bags as well – I had a heap of those.
“But look how much more organised this is. And when I said I had a whole heap of green bags, I truly meant it.
“This is now going to go live in my car, which hopefully will force me to use them.
“But the Aussie in me is probably just going to pile more bags back there.”
Many TikTok users were inspired by her clean-up efforts.
