A Sydney woman has shared her hilarious response after receiving a gift from her husband’s new girlfriend.
The woman was surprised when she found a pair of expensive Tiffany earrings in the mail.
But despite their value, she immediately took to a Facebook Buy, Sell and Swap group to get rid of the gift.
The woman quipped that she had “no desire to insert anything into any of my holes, that have also been in hers (the girlfriend).”
Online users praised her for her reaction.
“Selling these beautiful Tiffany earrings that my husband bought for his girlfriend before Christmas, it was quite the surprise when they were posted to me, with a darling little note explaining that they would look much better on me,” the woman wrote on Facebook.
“Well, duh. Nice one Captain Obvious.
“As much as a lovely gesture it was from the woman who has made my life Hell, I have no desire to insert anything into any of my holes, that have also been in hers.
“I’m sure chlamydia of the ear piercing isn’t a thing, so you should be safe. Although I highly advise a decent disinfect.”
The earrings were priced at $200 – which the poster claimed was a bargain.
“After a careful scouring of my husband’s bank accounts, I can confirm they were purchased in November and valued at $400 so you are getting quite the bargain.
“Pick up, Grays Point. Bring Wine.”
Social media users appreciated her humourous post.
“This is gold,” said one person.
“What a sales pitch,” said another.
“Post of the day, you go girl,” commented a third.
