Seaford stabbing: Teenager arrested over death of Cam Smith as police hunt for more suspects

A teenager has been arrested over the alleged stabbing death of a young tradie in Melbourne’s southeast.

Cam Smith, 26, was found by police near Seaford train station just before 7pm on Wednesday after he had gone out for pizza.

Paramedics worked frantically to try and revive the young man, but he died at the scene.

Police on Thursday morning said they were looking for three men and a woman as persons of interest over the brutal attack.

Shortly after, a 17-year-old Frankston teenager was arrested and taken into custody.

Officers are still searching for the other suspects.
