Homegrown star Rebel Wilson has taunted her incredible 30kg weight loss in her latest Instagram post.
The star posed poolside in her snap, captioning the image: “Fri-yay”.
Fans flooded the post, praising her for her incredible transformation.
Rebel is almost unrecognisable from her former self when she played characters including the aptly named Fat Amy.
The Australian actress, 41, announced in November last year that she had achieved her weight goal of 75kg.
Before that, she had weighed about 105kg.
“Girl you look amazing! You are inspiring me to go on my own health journey! Xoxo,” said one excited fan.
People in the Hollywood industry also weighed in, with actress Carly Steel commenting a fire emoji.
Hollywood Stylist Elizabeth Stewart commented: “wowza”.
Wilson’s weight loss journey was sparked when she was shooting Cats in 2019, when she lost 3.5kg effortlessly in just four days.
“They heated up the set very high, to almost 100°F (37C), so that we could never cool down,” Wilson told Entertainment Tonight.
“These people are like, the best dancers in the whole world, so they can’t cool their muscles down or they could get an injury and they’d be out of the film.”
After that, Wilson began her “Year of Health” and had achieved her goal by November 2020.
Rebel said her weight loss was a long time coming.
“I wasn’t loving myself in the way that I should from 20 to 40 – that’s 20 years,” Rebel told the Express.
“I feel so sad that I did that to myself, just not loving yourself in the right way.”
However, the new weight doesn’t come without its problems.
Rebel admits she’s had trolls attack her because of her rapid changes in weight.
Revealing this in an Instagram live video, Rebel said: “They (trolls) wanted me to stay Fat Amy.
“People go, ‘You’re not the same, you’re not funny anymor’”, and I’m like, ‘Screw you guys’.”
