New details have been released on the whereabouts of a mystery overnight millionaire.
A single Australian took out Powerball’s Division One jackpot on Thursday night, claiming the sole stake in $50 million.
The Lott earlier revealed the ticket was sold in Sydney.
But with a winner yet to come forward, it’s now honed in on the selling store.
It says the winning ticket was sold in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, meaning either a lucky resident or visitor is $50 million richer.
However, they might not even know it yet.
“There are 50 million reasons why Sydney lottery players should check their tickets today,” The Lott spokesperson Bronwyn Spencer said.
“Imagine discovering you were a multi-millionaire on a Friday, there is no doubt your plans for the weekend would change.
“Instead of mowing the lawn, doing the groceries or running errands, you could be celebrating with your friends and family.”
Anyone who has a ticket that hasn’t been scanned yet can do so on The Lott’s website.
The winning numbers in Powerball draw 1296 on Thursday 18 March 2021 were 18, 30, 16, 29, 6, 33 and 35, with a Powerball number of 4.
More than two dozen players were just one number shy of the division one prize, missing the all-important Powerball number.
