Latest COVID exposure venues revealed in Melbourne, Victoria despite no new cases

A restaurant in Melbourne’s east has been placed on alert after a visit from a confirmed COVID-19 case.

The Department of Health and Human Services updated the list of exposed venues on Saturday to advise anyone who attended Block 7 Dumplings in Ringwood between 8.10pm and 8.45pm on December 29 to monitor for symptoms.

The restaurant is located within Eastland Shopping Centre.

While Victoria recorded no new locally acquired cases for a third straight day on Saturday, health authorities have urged the public to get tested at the onset of any symptoms associated with COVID-19.

“There is a degree of confidence that we are close to running Black Rock to ground,” Premier Daniel Andrews said in reference to the 27-case outbreak linked to a Thai eatery in bayside Melbourne on Friday.
