Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies to host star-studded Carols In The Domain at Aware Super Theatre

The Morning Show stars Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies have been announced as the hosts of the 2020 Woolworths Carols in The Domain.

This year the annual Christmas concert will be held at the Aware Super Theatre due to COVID restrictions in a special made-for-television event broadcast on Wednesday 23 December.

A slew of stars have signed on to perform, including The Wiggles, Hugh Sheridan, Home and Away’s Penny McNamee, Todd McKenney and Rachael Beck.

Beloved global icons Mickey and Minnie will also be making an appearance with a “very special performance that, in true Disney style, will be spectacular”.

And of course the big man himself, Santa Claus, will be arriving in what is sure to be a magical moment.

”It’s the most wonderful time of the year! I know they’re the lyrics to a Christmas carol, but it seems appropriate to quote it. Now, more than ever, we realise the value of being together, of giving thanks and being in the moment,” Kylie Gillies said.

Carols is the perfect chance to celebrate that – whether you’re at the event or tucked up on the couch with your kids or loved ones.”

Larry Emdur added: “This is exactly what we need right now. It’s been such a complicated and trying year for so many families.”

“We’re thrilled to be part of this wonderful tradition, the sole purpose of which is to spread love and happiness.”

Woolworths Carols in the Domain airs Wednesday 23 December on Channel 7 and 7plus
