Darrell Lea renames iconic ‘Allsorts’ in the name of love

Australian confectionery brand Darrell Lea has renamed one of its iconic products to celebrate diversity, inclusion and love.

The humble liquorice Allsorts has been changed to ‘Darrell Lea loves Allsorts’ to show support.

The company will also donate a percentage of sales from the limited edition packs to QLife, a free and anonymous Australia-wide LGBTI phone and webchat service for people who need support on issues including sexuality, identity, gender, bodies, feelings and relationships.

“We’re very excited to add a colourful new dimension to our iconic and much-loved Liquorice Allsorts range,” Darrell Lea Senior Marketing Manager Aimee Cutajar told

“Darrell Lea is a company that is proudly made up of all sorts of people and it’s this diversity that has created the perfect recipe for our success.

“We celebrate and encourage inclusivity within our business and within our society,” Cutajar said.

Funds raised from the sale of the colourful packs will be used by QLife to support expert training so that volunteers can more effectively meet the growing and evolving needs and concerns of the LGBTI community across Australia.

The limited-edition packs are available now until sold out from all leading supermarkets and convenience stores across the country. has not received any monetary benefit from this content.
