Comedians launch DonaldJTrump2024.com site | 7NEWS.com.au

Whether or not US President Donald Trump runs in 2024 is anyone’s guess, but the website DonaldJTrump2024.com is up and running, thanks to a pair of jokers who snatched up the domain name to taunt the lame-duck president.

Comedians Jason Selvig and Davram Stiefler, who call themselves The Good Liars, took credit for buying the site earlier this week.

Their website looks like President Trump’s real account, DonaldJTrump.com, except for having the boldfaced quote “I Lost the 2020 Election” on its home page.

That is something President Trump continues to deny.

The words “lost” and “loser” make several appearances on the parody site, which also jokes about raising money for a PAC that has “nothing to do with (Trump’s) legal defence team”.

That’s a reference to the president’s efforts to raise cash for his legal battle to overturn the results of the 2020 election, which he lost by more than 6-million votes.

One caveat in his fundraising is that donations under $8333 go to either the RNC or a new PAC started by Trump after the election, according to Politico.

DonaldJTrump2024.com consists of just a landing page. Its tabs go nowhere.

The Good Liars frequently mock the president on their Twitter feed, where singer Bette Midler congratulated them for their stunt.

“You kids are the greatest!!” the singer tweeted.

Selvig and Stiefler pranked Donald Trump Jr in 2019 by bringing fake dust jackets that read “Daddy, Please Love Me” to a Barnes & Noble bookstore, putting them over the cover of books authored by Trump Jr, then moving those books to the store’s Young Adult section.
