Black choir at Harry and Meghan’s wedding defends Prince Charles amid racism allegations

Members of The Kingdom’s Choir, who performed at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding, have spoken up in defence of Prince Charles amid allegations of racism in the royal family.

The allegations stem from Harry and Meghan’s controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey in which Meghan claimed that someone within the royal family expression concern over what baby Archie’s skin colour would be.

Speculation has since flown about which royal family member Meghan was referring to.

Harry told Winfrey that it wasn’t Queen Elizabeth or Prince Philip.

Speaking to TMZ, the choir’s founder and conductor, Karen Gibson, said she had a hard time believing Prince Charles was racist, because he personally invited the group to perform at the 2018 wedding, and has been an avid supporter since.
