Australian boxer Ebanie Bridges responds to trolls after posting Twitter video

Aussie boxer Ebanie Bridges has slammed online trolls and says she’ll make no apology for posting a “sexy” video before Tim Tyszu floored Bowyn Morgan at the Sydney Super Fight on Wednesday.

Bridges was ringside at the fight night and posed for photos alongside Australian boxing legend Jeff Fenech while getting drenched by the rain at Bankwest Stadium.

The high school teacher shot to fame after impressing on the Tszyu-Jeff Horn undercard in August and then revealing she has made a small fortune selling her dirty socks to fans.

The ‘Blonde Bomber’ posted a short video on Wednesday night which she captioned “off to the fights”.

It quickly set social media alight.

The post was liked more than 1300 times and drew close to 200 comments, plenty of those were positive but some were negative.

Twitter user Chris Hagans gave the 33-year-old some unsolicited advice.

“You are stunning. But you are also a great boxer. You do not need the sexy gimmicks. Show your worth in the ring,” Hagans tweeted.

“I get that the more followers the more money. Bit don’t sell yourself short.”

His comments earned a response from Bridges who wasn’t impressed by the suggestion.

“What’s wrong with being sexy?? They aren’t (sic) gimmicks, I enjoy looking good and feeling sexy and beautiful,” Bridges said.

“Why should I downplay it? I am a great boxer yes & when I get in that ring I’ll be able to showcase that more, but right now I ain’t in the ring. So I’ll show all my sides.”

Another Twitter user then jumped to her defence in response to Hagans.

“That’s some straight dumbass stuff right there. People can’t just stop being attractive because their (sic) fighters,” they commented.
