An ALDI customer has shared her bold trick for removing bugs from the front of your car.
Shopper Sal used the supermarket’s famous $1.25 Di San Pre Wash Stain Remover laundry Spray to transform her vehicle.
Sharing before and after images of the transformation, it’s clear to see that Sal’s car used to be covered in hard, crusty bugs.
After using Di-San, however, her blue vehicle appeared brand new.
“Is there anything ALDI Di San can’t clean?” she wrote on the ALDI Fans Australia Facebook page.
But many ALDI shoppers were adamant that it wasn’t a good idea to use the spray on your car.
“Just be careful of what’s in the ingredients, it’s not meant for cars so may eat at your paint,” wrote one.
“This is an awesome result though it’s great stuff!”
Added another: “I wouldn’t be using those harsh chemicals on your car.”
Said a third: “Wait till you get a look at your paint work in a month or so after the sodium carbonate causes your clear coat to peel.”
Wrote one more: “Please don’t use this on your car! I can’t stress this enough. There are products out there designed for bug removal.”
Others shared their experiences with Di San.
“Have used on exterior of car and caravan. Excellent results,” said one. “The degreaser Di-san also excellent on interior of car on vinyl.”
Said another: “I use it on my dirty rims, cleans them up well.”
